Welcome to the Civil and Environmental Engineering web page.  At Youngstown State University (YSU), we offer Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Master of Science (MS) degrees in Civil Engineering. Our undergraduate program provides students with a strong foundation in math, science, and the fundamentals of engineering, as well as a broad background in all major areas of the civil engineering discipline. Graduates are well prepared for professional practice and/or graduate study.

  The BE program has been continuously accredited by ABET since 1959. Our graduate program offers concentration areas in Structural Engineering and Environmental Engineering. We are in the process of developing a Engineering Management option and several online graduate courses.  I hope you find the web page informative.
