University ID Replacement

How do I get a new/replacement university ID?

Students may obtain an university ID after they have activated a MyYSU portal account and registered for classes. For most new students, this occurs during the orientation process.  There is not a fee for your first univeristy ID, however a $25 fee per replacement card will be required prior to issuing a replacement ID.  Students needing a replacement may purchase the card at the Office of Student Accounts (Meshel Hall) and bring the reciept to the Registration Office (Meshel Hall) for the replacement card.

One of the following forms of identification is required to get a new or replacement card:
         A valid State-issued driver's license with photo.
A valid State-issued photo ID card
         A valid passport with photo
         A valid military ID card

Your YSU ID Card is used to verify your identity and to complete various transactions across campus. You should guard your YSU ID Card like cash or a credit card in order to keep it safe and secure at all times.

Please DO NOT:
lend your card to other people
        mark or bend your card
        punch holes in your card
scratch the magnetic strip on your card
use your card as an ice scraper

You can report a lost or stolen card to the Registration Office (Meshel Hall) by calling 330-941-3178.
