2012 Supplemental Instruction Leaders

Please click HERE to see the proposed FALL 2012 schedule!

SI is available to students beginning as early as the first week of the semester.
Ask your professor if Supplemental Instruction will be available in his/her course.

WHY SI?

Study time is precious time--don't waste it!

WHAT IS SI?

SI is a series of informal weekly study sessions led by an SI leader.
Studies indicate that if you attend sessions regularly, you will get a better grade. SI sessions are free, voluntary and anonymous.

 WHAT IS AN SI LEADER?

A leader is a student who already attended a course and did well. The leader has been approved by the professor and trained by the Center for Student Progress. Your SI leader can help you with course content and study skills.

 WHY SHOULD I GO?

SI is guaranteed study time that will save you time. For example, let's say you are home studying for a test and can't remember the chapters to read. This question and more can be answered in just one session. Not to mention, you will get to meet others, probably get a better grade, and free up your weekends.
