Youngstown State University Alumni Society members give back to YSU. A portion of their membership dues is used to fund the Legacy Scholarship program for qualified students of current Alumni Society members. This year’s recipients were recognized during the event. Pictured from left to right are Joseph Cochran of Pulaski, Mike Giambattista of Canfield and Taylor Brandt of Leavittsburg. A fourth recipient, Michael Thomas of Youngstown, was unable to attend the ceremony. Each student receives a $1000 scholarship to be used at YSU. Four awards are given each year in the spring.

2013 Bitonte College of Health & Human Services Alumni Recognition Awards

Alumni, faculty and friends of the University gathered to honor the recipients of the 2013 Bitonte College of Health & Human Services Alumni Recognition Awards.
Alumni award recipients included Jesse McClain IV ’02, ‘06, Nursing; Patricia Sciaretta ‘02, Social Work; Renee Rogers ‘05, HPES; Bernie Kosar ‘59, Military Science; Noreen Moderalli ‘75, Human Ecology; Ed Schiavone ‘98, Physical Therapy; and Richard Mahan ’76, ’91, ‘94, Criminal Justice and Forensic Science. Appreciation awards were also given to James and Coralie Centofanti, posthumously, and Jan Elias. |
