♦ Do what you love to do. You will do it well. If you don't like your major and are not doing well, change majors.
♦ Take the My Plan career planning program. Find out who you are and what career field you will enjoy.
♦ Build a strong academic record - one that makes you proud.
♦ Strong records of achievement are built over time. Do not wait until your senior year to start this. Begin now!
♦ You will need connections. Get to know your professors and staff and let them know you.
♦ Employers look for evidence of experience in your career area. Gain experience through active involvement in campus organizations and look for opportunities to take leadership roles and make contributions.
