Important Notice: You must be able to print your temporary permit when initially registering for a parking permit, this is your only opportunity to print the temporary permit. The temporary will be valid while your permit is being processed. Please place that on your dash while parked on campus.
To register for your permit, log into your portal. Select the Student Tab at the top of the page. Select registration and choose the current term for which you need the permit and hit submit. Now select the Personal Info Tab from the top of the screen. From here you will select purchase a permit and follow the prompts from there on selecting your vehicle. Once you are registered, you will see the temporary number, please PRINT this page and use while your permit request is being processed. Your permit will be mailed to you the next business day.
YSU Parking Shuttle Announces New Routes for Fall 2012
YSU parking Services has implemented changes in the parking shuttle to better serve the needs of their customers this fall.
The shuttle will provide an express route from the R-1 parking lot to Kilcawley Center each morning from 6:40 to 8:30 am. Students can also get the shuttle on Elm Street just East of the R-1 entrance.
The second Express shuttle route will run from 8:30am to 4:30pm from the M-9 lot on Walnut Street to Williamson Hall with one stop at the M-1 parking deck east pedestrian entrance. Student with classes in Williamson are encouraged to park in the M-9 or the M- level 1 and take the express to class. This shuttle will stop at each location every 10 minutes.
The third shuttle route will be the campus inner core route. The shuttle will run from the M-2 Deck Fifth Avenue entrance clockwise on campus with stops at Stambaugh Stadium, Lyden & Cafaro, R-1 Parking Lot, Kilcawley Center, Wick and Weller Service Road Entrance. Courtyard Apartments, Lincoln Ave. and Phelps, Lincoln Ave. and Elm, and the Beeghly School of Education. The shuttle will stop at each location approximately every 30 minutes from 8:35 am till 8:30 pm.
