Counseling Mission

The mission of Counseling Services is to provide professional assessment, short term counseling, consultation, and referral services to our students. To achieve this mission, service delivery is guided by adherence to professional codes of ethics and standards of practice.

                                                                       Services and Programs

Counseling services are available at no cost to campus students.   
Problems commonly seen during counseling sessions include: 

               ♦Anxiety
               ♦Stress Management
               ♦Depression
               ♦Eating Disorders
               ♦Low Self-Esteem

To best serve the client's needs, referrals can be made at the time of the initial assessment or during the treatment process when the resources needed are not available at counseling services.

Appointments can be made by telephone at 330.941.3515, or in person. Appointments are available Monday through
Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Educational Programs:
Class presentations and workshops are offered to campus groups on a variety of topics. Please call the Office of Career and Counseling Services at 330.941.3515 well in advance to arrange a presentation.
