 Complaint Process

 

Distance Education Complaint Process for Out of State Students
Youngstown State University seeks to resolve student grievances, complaints, and concerns in a fair, amicable, and
prompt manner. Before submitting a complaint to the Department of Higher Education, students residing outside
of the State of Ohio while attending Youngstown State University who desire to resolve a grievance should exhaust
all opportunities for resolution outlined in the Article IX, Section B or C and Article X of the Student Code. If the
institutional procedure has been utilized with no resolution, the student may file a complaint with his/her State.
Youngstown State University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of
Colleges and Schools.
