Graduation from Youngstown State University:

Potential graduates must apply for graduation by the third Friday in the beginning of the semester by submitting the necessary paperwork to the Registration Office (Meshel Hall). Filing for graduation in this time frame is sixty-five dollars ($65). Once this deadline has passed, potential graduates will incur a late fee of thirty-eight dollars and fifty cents ($38.50) to file for graduation.

Spring 2012 Applicaiton Deadline:  Friday, February 3, 2012 (without a late fee), or Thursday, March 29, 2012 (with a late fee).

Summer 2012 Application Deadline:  Friday, June 8, 2012 (without a late fee), or Monday, July 9, 2012 (with a late fee).

Fall 2011 Applicaiton Deadline:  Friday, September 14, 2012 (without late fee), or TBA (with a late fee).

If you have any questions about the procedure for filing for graduation or if you have missed the initial deadline, please call the Record's Office (Jones Hall) at 330-941-2942.

Diplomas:  Diplomas are not available at University Commencement due to degree verification. Diplomas may be picked up according to the dates listed below at the Record's Office (Jones Hall, Room 1013). You must have a photo ID when picking up your diploma. If you wish to have your diploma mailed to you, please complete the Diploma Mailing Request Form, and mail it to the Record's Office. You may also contact Cathy Pokrivnak 330-941-1584, for further mailing instructions.

Spring 2012 Diploma Availability:  June 12, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Summer 2012 Diploma Availability:  TBA, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Fall 2012 Diploma Availability:  TBA, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
