Both the Avance 400 Ultrashield and the Avance 400 are equipped with:
Double screen Windows XP workstations with the Bruker TopSpin software package for acquisition and processing of 1D, 2D, 3D and 4D NMR data, including PLOT, ICON-NMR and NMR-SIM. Bruker Smart Magnet System (BSMSTM) shim and Digital LockTM control, including Digital Frequency Generation, Digital Quadrature Receiver, computer-controlled lock regulation system and ultra-stable, low current noise Shim Control Boards and a Bruker Orthogonal Shim System (BOSSTM-1) with low current and low heat dissipation gradient shims. GRASPTM II GRAdient SPectroscopy accessory for the AVANCE series. Single channel GAB ultra-stable power supply, integrated into the BSMS. Single channel gradient amplifier (10 Amp) for generation of gradients with up to 50 Gauss/cm. 2H TX board for BSMS providing 2H decoupling (alternating decoupling / lock) and 2H gradient shimming.
Bruker Avance 400 Ultrashield with Superconducting 400 MHz magnet system with 5.4 cm bore, (field at 9.4 Tesla) including helium level sensor and Ultrashield magnet with actively shielded design.
