BS in Geology

Incoming freshman should have complete:

  • Math up to pre-calculus (Math placement of level 4 or higher)
  • High school chemistry

If the student does not meet these entry requirements, they will need to take Introduction to Chemistry (CHEM 1501) and Math courses determined by math placement test.

 

CURRICULUM FOR THE BACHELOR OF SCIENCE – GEOLOGY 2009

For the Bachelor of Science degree, the student majoring in Geology must complete a minimum of 40 s.h. in Geology (31 Specified, 9 Elective), including a course in Field Geology, an additional 24-26 SH in science support courses.
