Dana alumni are involved in performance throughout the country in all musical styles. Our graduates have played with orchestras such as the Pittsburgh Symphony, Florida Symphony, Nashville Symphony, San Antonio Symphony, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Mexico City Symphony, and the Orquesta Sinfonica de Aguas Calientes (Mexico).

Graduates of our nationally recognized jazz program perform with big bands such as the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Maynard Ferguson Band, Glenn Miller Orchestra, and the Mel Lewis Orchestra.

Our vocalists have sung with many opera companies including the Karlsruke Opera (Germany), Opera Theater of Pittsburgh, Metropolitan Opera Company, and the Florida Grand Opera.

Dana alumni also serve in numerous military bands: United States Air Force Airmen of Note, The United States Marine Band (Washington), The United States Navy Band (Washington), United States Army Field Band (Fort Meed), Air Force Band of Liberty (Hanscom AFB), and the Air Force Band of Flight (Wright-Patterson AFB).

In addition to teaching in the public schools, Dana alumni teach at universities through the United States and in South Africa: Manhattan School of Music, Florida State University, Potchefstrom University (South Africa), University of Nebraska, Hoffstra University, University of Arizona, Kansas State University, Del Mar College, University of Northern Colorado, University of Arizona, Townson State University, Youngstown State University, Bowling Green State University, Pittsburgh State University (KA), Concordia University, Towson State University (MY), Westminister College, University of Akron, University of Miami, Louisiana State University, New York University, Vanderbilt University, Maryville College , University of Tennessee, and Pennsylvannia State University.
