PROJECT HOPE is a unique grant-funded program which supports income eligible students planning to enter the healthcare field.  Youngstown State University has partnered with Eastern Gateway Community College, the grant holder, and is able to offer assistance to students in the following majors within the Bitonte College of Health and Human Services:

• Clinical Laboratory Technology (AAS)
• Emergency Medical Technology (AAS)
• Histotechnology (AAS)
• Medical Assisting Techology (AAS)

THE PATH TO SUCCESS STARTS HERE.  The overall goal of Project Hope is to eliminate barriers that hinder student success, offer support services, and guid students toward program completion and job placement.

Students accepted into this program are matched with a Student Coach who can provide guidance in academic, personal, and social areas of life.
