 Computer Lab

The computer lab is located in room number 3083 of Cushwa Hall. The lab is restricted to Bitonte College of Health and Human Service Majors only or those who are currently registered in BCHHS classes having an associated lab. Students must sign in at the desk located just inside the lab entrance.

*computer lab will not be open during holidays and breaks as well as during the times student lab assistants are not available.

Lab Policies


  1. Lab hours are subject to change and are tentative to change. Please check back for updated hours list.
  2. If lab is NOT open at designated times, please wait 5 to 10 minutes for class changes.
  3. Paper is provided for students, but non-necessary printing will be done on your own paper. Software or applications that are owned by the University or one of the departments within the College should not be loaded onto computers by students using the computers or lab assistants without approval of the faculty supervisor of the lab.
  4. Servers: i.e., FTP, SMTP, WC3, NNTP, and such should not be installed on any of the computers in the lab without approval of the faculty/staff  supervisor of the lab.
  5. Software such as port scanners, sniffers, IP posters, or other "hacker type" applications should not be loaded onto computers by students using the computers or lab assistants without the approval of the faculty supervisor of the lab.
  6. Personal files, including data, wave, video, should not be loaded onto computers by students using the computers or lab assistants without the approval of the faculty supervisor of the lab.
  7. Computers should not be used to make copies of materials protected by copyright including programs such as, program files, com files, data files, and audio and/or video files.
  8. All equipment with the lab is the property of the College and no modifications should be made to any hardware without approval of the faculty supervisor of the lab.
  9. No food or drink permitted in lab.

The lab is equipped with 32 Dell Optiplex 760 computers, 2 laser printers, 1 color scanner. Computer Specs: Xp sp3, 3.25 GB RAM, 2.79 GHZ Core 2 Duo, 150 GB HDD.

Software installed on computers are used for H&HS majors only. No student will be allowed to install or download software without proper authority.
