As YSU’s Mental Health Counselor my focus is to provide counseling for our currently enrolled students. I have been employed at YSU since 1988 and as the Mental Health Counselor since 2001.
I am currently serving on the Mahoning County Mental Health Board (2006 – present) and have served on both the Boys & Girls Club (2004-06) and the Juvenile Justice Advisory Board (2004-08).
I am also adjunct faculty in our Counseling Department. This provides me the additional opportunity of contact with our students while they are on their academic path.
My goal is to be proactive for our students and in this capacity I am a member of our STAT Team (Student Threat Assessment Team).
