Licensing Information
Graduates of the BSW Program are prepared for successful employment in a number of settings such as public welfare agencies, mental health centers, health care settings, educational systems, correctional institutions and business and industry. A baccalaureate degree in social work qualifies an individual to apply for licensing (LSW) in the State of Ohio. Students are encouraged to take the licensing exam prior to their graduation from Youngstown State University.
