As a result of our students’ success at MathFest 2006 in Knoxville TN in August, the University decided to put pictures of our award winning students on a roadside billboard. The billboard is up, and is located on the North side of US route 80 between Rt. 422 and Salt Springs Road. It is viewable when driving westbound on US route 80, just west of the Rt. 422 / 80 interchange. The students appearing larger than life are David Gohlke, David Martin, Tara Cruickshank, Nick Gemuenden and Tyler Drombosky. (Carrie Davis, Ryan Livingston, Leanna Cluff and Matt Ward also deserve recognition for their excellent talks at MathFest 2006).
