BENEFITS OF READING AND STUDY SKILLS CENTER SERVICES

A variety of strategies for improving college reading and studying are provided.
Students are encouraged to choose study techniques which are appropriate to his/her needs.
Building reading and study skills provides high returns for the student's investment in study time.
Students improve performance in academic classes with skills that are applicable semester after semester.

Reading and Study Skills Center services include:

reading and/or study skills diagnosis and development
individualized programs through our Self-Referral Tutoring
large or small group instruction during Reading and Study Skills classes
numerous semester workshops through our College Success Workshops program
