Minimum requirements for student employment on campus:
Enrollment -- During the Spring and Fall semesters, students must be currently enrolled for at least one (1) course of 3 hours or more to be considered for employment. During the Summer semester, students need not be enrolled for the summer term. However, they must have been enrolled during the previous Spring semester and be already registered for the upcoming Fall semester.
GPA Requirements -- 1.75 for Freshmen (except for in-coming Freshmen, who do not have a GPA requirement during their first semester at YSU); 2.0 for Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors; 3.0 for Graduate Students.
Good Standing -- Students must be in good standing with the university at the time of employment. Financial holds and academic holds on a student's transcripts will delay employment until all holds are lifted.
NOTE: If you see a job in this listing that you are interested in applying for, please contact the employing department directly. Most listings contain a "CONTACT" name and a four-digit telephone extension. If you want to call the contact number from a YSU campus telephone, simply dial the four digit number of the extension. If you are calling from off campus or from your cell phone, you will need to dial 330-941- and then the four-digit extension.
