The Williamson Center for International Business is very active in local and regional economic development as it pertains to international business. This includes working directly with organizations interested in either entering an international market(s) or improving the efficiency of their existing international operations. This assistance can be in the form of individual consulting, student projects, or student interns. The capability also exists to develop tailored programs, or seminars for individual firms. The Center also works closely with local and regional organizations involved in expanding international business in the region. These organizations include the Chamber of Commerce, government funded trade assistance groups (e.g. NEOTEC, ITAC, etc.), and the U.S. Department of Commerce. Finally, the Center is active in presenting programs, either independently or in conjunction with our partner organizations, covering a wide-range of international business-related topics.
