Students working towards their degrees in American Studies come from diverse backgrounds and have many different career and research interests.  Below are biographies of some of our current students.

Education:  BA in Psychology/Minor in Peace and Conflict Studies, Youngstown State University, 2012

Research Interests:  Public tasking, history, working-class studies, education reform, and literature

Education:  BA in Geography, BSAS in Information Technology, and Certificate in Geographic Information Science, Youngstown State University, 2011

Research Interests:  Museum and working-class studies.

Research Interests:  Education regarding the growing senior population in the U.S.

Research Interests:  Historic preservation, architecture, film, cultural geography, American studies, sociology, urban history.
