Students pursuing a baccalaureate degree enter the WCBA as Pre-Business majors. Satisfactory progress toward the completion of the General Education Requirements (GER) and Business Tool Course (TOOL) requirements must be made before the completion of 34 semester hours of course work to retain the Pre-Business status in the WCBA. Students who have not made satisfactory progress within this period will no longer be permitted to continue in the WCBA. Advisors are available for consultation regarding other major opportunities.
To declare a business major, students are required to have:
1) junior standing
2) the completion of English Writing II and all Business Tool courses with a minimum grade of C
3) a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5.

Students who wish to declare a business major must apply with an academic advisor in the Office of Undergraduate Student Services, Williamson Hall.
