  1. International Association for Addiction and Offender Counseling (ACA Division) - The IAAOC is a professional organization dedicated to working with the addictions and offender populations with the hope of providing appropriate treatment to those that they serve.
  2. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) - A division of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, SAMHSA, was designed to help reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on America’s communities.
  3. National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA) - NIDA's mission is to lead the Nation in bringing the power of science to bear on drug abuse and addiction.
  4. National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) - The Association for Addiction Professionals is the largest membership organization serving addiction counselors, educators and other addiction-focused health care professionals, who specialize in addiction prevention, treatment, recovery support and education.
  5. Addiction Today (Journal) - A journal devoted to leading-edge and evidence-based treatment for all forms of addiction and dependency. Includes treatment centers and self help resources.
