My bachelor’s degree from the Williamson College of Business Administration was a perfect foundation for positions in both public and private accounting.  After spending time in a public accounting for a regional firm in San Diego and 10+ years in private accounting, I wanted to expand into general management.   To get a solid foundation in management I enrolled in the MBA program at YSU. The MBA Program offered a wide selection of classes to meet that objective.

YSU proved to be a great choice for undergraduate work, I was sure that the graduate level would be just as challenging.  The small class size, diversity of graduate students, experienced professors, and strong research opportunities make the MBA degree an investment that was reasonable and the return was spectacular.

My MBA provided a career path leading from Corporate Controller to Chief Financial Officer and more recently to Chief Operating Officer.  I am now well suited for various C- level positions.
